How To Get Ready Effortlessly For A Party With Karnis
Wholesome Hummus
Weekends are crazy for me because I always have friends or family over at home. Be it small get-to-together or parties, I end up dedicating hours cracking my head over what appetizers should I serve. Now what’s fairly bit of a respite for me is that I love Hummus and always have a pack of Karnis hummus handy at home. Karnis hummus is just packed with heaps of flavors of olive oil, lemon, smashed chickpea, and garlic. Hummus for me is undeniably a very versatile food, which I keep adding to my appetizers, wraps, sandwiches, and dips.
Mediterranean food is rich in flavors and their hummus is no exception. I am going to share with you a few quick appetizers you can try when you have a party at home.
Cherry Tomatoes/Devilled Eggs filled with Hummus
I love cherry tomatoes in my pasta and salads, so if I have surprise guests at home I just pick up a few cherry tomatoes and scoop out the inside. Then I just quickly fill in my pastry bag with Karnis hummus and pipe it into the tomatoes. You can try the same recipe with devilled eggs instead of egg yolk filling addkarnis hummus. Your guests are sure to be impressed with these quick appetizers.
Toasted Pita wedges and Hummus
Pita bread is something you will always find at my home; I often stuff pita bread with grilled chicken and lettuce. A quick yet appealing appetizer you can try is nicely toasted pita wedges with karnis hummus. Just pour hummus in a bowl top it off with paprika and parsley and serve it with hot toasted pita wedges.
Hummus on Cucumber
Another good summer appetizer that I often make is cucumber and hummus. It is hassle-free to make and tastes delicious. Just take 1 large cucumber and cut it into 1/4th-inch roundels, scoop up 1 tablespoon of karnis hummus on it and garnish it with a piece of bell pepper or grape tomato.
Hummus Crostini
Okay, so this one is super simple yet absolutely tasty. It’s got the crunch, the buttery smooth flavor all in one dish. Plate up a few crunchy crostinis and spread over it the rich creamy karnis hummus. Sprinkle green olives over it, and for a bit of fancy presentation add a little feta cheese and drizzle olive oil over your crostini.
Easy-to-make Hummus Cup with Cucumber- Tomato filling
This one looks really cute and requires a bit of baking. So just take some store-bought pizza dough roll it out and cut them into circles with a cookie cutter. Line them in a muffin baking tray and bake the cups for 8-10 minutes. Bake till golden brown and after baking completely cool them off. In a bowl mix cherry tomatoes, cucumber, karnis hummus, and salt and scoop this filling inside the pizza cups. The bite-size cups make for a great appetizer.
I always try to make use of Karnis hummus as something more than a dip, these easy appetizers are sure to impress your guests and appease their taste buds.
