Re-use Karnis Containers And Help Save The Environment

Monthly tip: How to reuse or recycle Karnis containers

Food packaging always results in wastage. No matter how attractive or useful they might seem, most of us end up throwing these away. However, I have a hobby of collecting such items. I am not a hoarder but I try to recycle the Karnis containers as much as I can.

Recycling is a great way to help our planet become a better place. This is why today I am going to share some useful and innovative ideas with my readers so as to reuse and recycle the Karnis containers on a daily basis. Read on to know more.

The Glass Mason Karnis Jars:

Yes, these are very useful. Always remember that the bigger the size of the Mason Jars, the better storage it provides. Keep them under your sink of the kitchen to neatly store supplies. I personally use them to store scrap materials of food items for my composting that is used in my personal garden. You can also store various little things inside these, such as buttons, cotton swabs, matches, candles and so on.

For the smaller jars, I have a great idea as well! Punch little holes carefully into the lids of the containers and store food items like baking soda and sprinkle with ease the next time! You can also use such jars for other purposes as well. For example, you can put a little effort and time like I did, and turn these into amazing dispensers. I generally use it to store liquid soap but you can use it for other purposes too.

The Karnis Tin Cans:

Sometimes we tend to forget how versatile these tin cans can be! Let your kids turn these into wonderful holders and cases with their wild and amazing creativity.

I have used them for many things. I have painted some of the cans and used them to store some of my stationery such as pencils, markers, and pens. One of my kids pasted colorful art on one of the tin cans and gifted it to me on Mother’s Day. I absolutely love it and use it as a vase even today.

The  Karnis Containers:

These are my favorite reusable items as I can store multiple things inside them. I have an infant in my home and these box Containers can be put to great use for storing baby wipes and diapers. If you find difficult to remove the packaging labels of this containers, you should know they are pretty permanent.

However, I have come up with a solution for this as well! You can use colorful stickers to cover up the details of packaging such as I do. I prefer to use nice and colorful floral stickers to give these boxes a warm, homely touch.

After you are done with the decorating, you can use these boxes to store napkins, small towels, etc. These can also be turned into excellent first-aid kits for your home.

So after you have given my ideas a try, do let me know how things went. Good luck with the reuse and recycling!
